personal 30-11-1999 Wackos Video Collection. I've successfully produced my first multimedia CD that contains several video clips of the Wackos in action! Digitised into MPEG format and authored using Macromedia Director, I'll be creating a few more based on the video recordings I made since early last year. friends 27-11-1999 Munchkin's Birthday. Joji threw a party for her one year old Xahra Batrisyia and all of the localised Wackos got into the action. Ju brought all of her Mr. Disasters, and Anush won her bet with Joji when even pooper Rizal came along! I was hungry and walloped several helpings of popiah and roti jala. A few games were held, including musical chairs and passing-the-parcel, which Rizal refused to participant in, even though he was perfectly qualified.... work 26-11-1999 Cultural Video Shoot. As part of the video shooting for the multimedia project to mark the official launching of our University, we had a rather special occasion tonight where Puan Sri Amnah, wife of our Executive Chairman, helped the students with their costumes and props. Where initially it would have been a low-profile exercise involving half-a-dozen kids, it became an assemblage of over forty people! I had to round up extra cameramen and lighting technicians, and thank goodness, I managed to supply sufficient quantities of McChicken burgers... friends 20-11-1999 MMU Carnival. Anush and I made a visit to the Multimedia University in Cyberjaya and were given a special tour by our guides, Rita and Sakina (thank you!) (Pity Riz couldn't make it; but then again, once a Pollo, always a Pollo...) We then headed off to Putrajaya but being the Wackos that we are, we got lost! But we found our way to Sunway Pyramid and had our lunch at Dome. Rita, who had to leave early to travel to Sg. Petani for a friend's wedding, only realised that Sg. Petani was much further than Ipoh... I guess we all had a pretty adventurous day! personal 14-11-1999 Microfest. I went to PWTC with my cousin, Sharil, to buy 2 boxes of CD-Rs and 3 CD-RWs, which were selling at a bargain price (RM3.70 and RM22, respectively.) Funny, the crowd was less packed than usual. After that, Sharil, his wife Leena, and their son, Emir, took me out for dinner at Su Chan. I had delicious Nasi Kerabu! personal 11-11-1999 RealJukebox Recordings. I downloaded this cool program and have copied 17 out of 19 of my CD albums, and it has taken less than 300MB of diskspace! Which means, I can easily copy all of those songs into 1 CD-R with space for at least 20 more albums!! And the quality of the music is maintained excellently. Highly recommended. friends 08-11-1999 Wackos Deepavali. Yesterday, we celebrated Deepavali at Jar Jar's home and today was Malar's turn. After that, Jar Jar, Malar, Darth Maul and I went to see "The Sixth Sense", which I thought was excellent. Worth seeing twice! Later, we stopped by Fei Fei Kopitiam in Bangsar and had some prawn fritters. Time moved really slowly today... |
