personal 31-07-2000 New DVDs. Bought two movies today: "Antz" and "The Matrix" on DVD. The reason for buying Antz was because it had extra information on how they produced the 3D animation and effects. friends 29-07-2000 Patriotic Night. Rita called me up and invited me for dinner with her hubby and friends. So, we all met up at Bangsar Jolly Green to have steak and chicken chop, after which we drove to Megamall to watch "The Patriot" - an excellent movie, much like "Braveheart". work 26-07-2000 Quickies. Went to Sheraton, Subang in the day to see the seminar on Lotus Quickplace v2.0. At night, I had dinner at Uniten to celebrate our success on the Perasmian Uniten. personal 17-07-2000 Shocking Hotbits. My Alfa just got its shock absorbers replaced with the high-performance HotBits dampers, and so they now feel pretty good. No more annoying yo-yo bouncy effect. personal 11-07-2000 Upgraded my AM2K. I just received my new Animation Master v8.5 cd-rom by courier, which contains special copy-protection scheme, but I managed to cd-copy it using CloneCD. See the difference. personal 10-07-2000 Rat Trap. Using the latest in rat trapping technology, my mum managed to capture two rats that have been pestering in our house. work 04-07-2000 IT Symposium. Got to meet the usual gang from HQ and ISD, plus a few new faces, at this event which was held at the Residence Hotel in Uniten. Everything, more or less, turned out fine, and although the dinner was lacking in numbers, I enjoyed the food and company. |
