personal 27-02-2000 Reformatted my PC! Abbas, my brother, caused me to make the blunder of my life, when he asked to run a CD Setup program on my PC. Somehow, it managed to corrupt my Registry and clobbered Win98! It was so bad that I had to reformat! Which is what I did, and also took the opportunity to install the latest Win98SE and declutter my harddisk from unwanted software like games. Thank goodness I had some backup from last week. Now, my PC is like brand new! personal 24-02-2000 Bought AM2000! Immediately after buying some 3DCG books a few days ago, I decided to order online for Hash's Animation Master 2000 v8.0, and lo and behold, it has arrived all the way from USA (after just two days!) together with the Pro Training Video tapes I ordered. Everything worked fine the first time, and the tapes are brilliant in explaining and showing what AM can do! By the way, it costs me US$384, which equals about RM1460! friends 23-02-2000 Movie at Megamall. I had a meeting at HQ, and so invited Ju, Riz and Anush for lunch at Dome in Mid Valley Megamall (my first time here.) Anush and I decided to watch the movie "Sleepy Hollow" and bought the 5.30pm tickets; Riz chickened out as usual (it was a good thing 'cos he wouldn't have made it through the show...) while Ju had her troopers to take care of. personal 21-02-2000 3DCG Books. Having returned the Digital Cinematography book to Uniten's library, I decided to add three new books to my collection! These are highly recommended by experts in this field (and are quite costly!), and I am on the lookout for a few more, some of which will only be published in a few months time. personal 21-02-2000 DC Mindmap. Created a reference mindmap of Digital Cinematography. work 15-02-2000 Recee Conference. My multimedia opening sequence for the launching of the Regional Conference on Energy and Environment held in Uniten was well received. The dinner at the Aquarius floating restaurant also turned out to be good, serving nice Chinese cuisine amidst the romantic lake-view scenery. family 13-02-2000 Raya Photos. Finally, I compiled a small set of photos from last years Raya celebrations... family 12-02-2000 Haniff's Party. We celebrated his belated birthday at home. Tons of his friends together with Hanim's friends came over. The ratio of girls to guys were like 15:1! Uncle Harun became the resident photographer, but we'll have to wait until the pictures are developed before you get to see them. friends 11-02-2000 Joji visits Azian. Take a look at the historic event that happened on 4 Jan 2000 where Joji, Simba and a few Wackos visits Azian's home. These photos were passed onto me by Joji on Azian's birthday two days ago. friends 10-02-2000 Hospital Visit. Adly of TNRD got himself admitted into Assunta for dengue, although fortunately, the doctor there diagnosed him to have some viral infection instead plus a case of rashes. In spite of the needle-bruise marks on his arm and related blood-squirting stories (thanks to the trainee nurses there), he managed to show me his latest web creations using his notebook. He gets free food from his web efforts! What a nostalgic trip.... friends 09-02-2000 Azian's Birthday. The Wackos celebrated at the new location of Souled Out cafe in Sri Hartamas; there were loads of people, although the menu was the same. The chocolate ice-cream cake from Haagen Daz turned out to be mint (to my delight!) and by the time Joji arrived, there was only a few spoonfuls left. Indran arrived even later, as usual... Riz happily snapped away with his new compact camera, while Anush updated everyone with office gossip. personal 04-02-2000 AM Mindmap. Created a reference mindmap of Animation Master.
