At a local shopping complex, there was a dance troupe from Africa staging a traditional tribal dance using somewhat current dance music.
There was a large crowd watching the show and a few cheering to the presentation. I saw a few actually participating on stage where they had the limbo rock thingy as well.

Was passing into a local hotel today and there was a large toy train setup complete with an European landscape, in the lobby. This was for the coming Xmas celebrations. A variety of trains were moving on the tracks and there were numerous houses and building and tunnels constructed around the trains. Pretty cool.
About the only time to do a bit of grocery shopping during weekdays is in the evening. Needless to say, the shops would be filled with people and searching for a carpark is close to impossible. By the time you finished queuing and paying for your things, night has fallen.
Once in a while, don't you feel like just lazing about by a beautiful swimming pool amidst palace-like structures and heavenly surroundings? Well, that's how I feel like doing today, considering it's a Monday.
Not content with stuffing my belly with just Raya goodies, I went to a relative's birthday party which was held in a Thai restaurant and entertained my taste buds with the aromatic and spicy meals of the Siamese region. Almost every dish I sampled was terrific, so much so I hadn't any more space for the birthday cake.
With the festive season chugging along at a good pace, almost every department is trying to outdo another with their open house events. For me, it would be just an opportunity to savour the delicious servings of satay, lemang and rendang topped off with whatever desserts on offer.
At the lobby of my office building, the top management decided to put up a larger-than-life festive greeting card for everyone to see. It comes complete with a small stair to climb onto its platform and read the messages on the card. Doing this large card saves on having to send thousands of actual cards to every staff.
Had a meeting at our company's university and took a picture of the library building while I was there. The library has a pencil-shaped roof, to signify the centre of knowledge and resource. I think it's the largest university library in Malaysia.
One of the trees at our house, a rambutan tree, was fruiting and my mum wanted to gather the fruits. At the same time, she wanted a bit of pruning done to the tree. So, with the help of my nephews, the branches were trimmed down and cleared.
It is the rainy season and along with that comes worse traffic jams on the highway. I took this as I was heading home, with the rain pouring down onto my car.
