Poolside Pleasure
Mood:  party time!
Topic: Office
While attending the management workshop, we had the opportunity to dip into the very inviting swimming pool of our condominium.

There's also the beach and sea to jump into. In the photo, the seaside is just in the background, behind the trees.

The poolside was also where we had our barbeque dinner. I had a most relaxing and leisurely time in Port Dickson.

Seaside Splendour
Mood:  amorous
Topic: Personal
When staying at a seaside resort, it is silly not to take a stroll on the beach. (Although wot was sillier was me forgetting to bring my swimming trunks...)

The light, cool breeze amidst the swaying leaves of the coconut trees. The sounds of water caressing the sandy, golden beach. The sight of a boat bobbing on the waters, just tempting you to freedom... 'tis the splendour of the seaside.

Friday Prayers
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: Office
I was at Port Dickson today to participate in my division's business planning management workshop.

Since it is Friday, my office colleagues and I went for prayers at the nearby mosque. It's quite a nice looking mosque that is situated on a hill. We arrived early so the place was not yet filled with people.

All in all, an ok day.

Lakeside Study
Mood:  happy
Topic: Office
Attended a one-day management course at our company's university. The campus is quite scenic. We have a lake surrounded by the uni's own hotel, student apartments, mosque and classrooms. There's even a floating restaurant on the lake (not in picture though.)

Every now and again, it nice to getaway from the city to be here. The lush environment makes you feel young and relaxed.

Making a New Passport
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: Personal
I'm scheduled to attend a short ICT course in London, United Kingdom next month. Unfortunately, my international passport had expired - about three years ago! So, I went to the Immigration Department at Subang Airport Terminal 3 to make a new one.

Service was very good and quick, and there wasn't much of a queue. I took my photo there and completed my application in about an hour. It should be ready in two days time. Wheee!

The Underground
Mood:  spacey
Topic: Office
After a long session at work, I have to go underground to get to the carpark. It is four levels deep and the lowest has an eerie feel to it.

Not that I have had any supernatural experiences to tell, but a few have told of mysterious sightings. Like seeing a colleague in his car, when in fact he was on leave or outstation....

The Eagle Has Landed
Mood:  special
Topic: Office
As we was having tea break at my project office, I spotted an eagle peeking from outside the window! It probably was hungry and noticed us eating. So, we quickly came near it and I took some pictures of it. It didn't fly away - it wasn't afraid of us at all.

If that was not already miraculous to see an eagle (or maybe it was a hawk) on the 20flr of our building, we spotted TWO of them birds!

Yep, everyone who had a mobile phone that can take photos were snapping away like mad. The two hawks were just curiously looking at us all this while.

Hmm... at the end, it felt like WE were the exhibits in a zoo (the hawks were outside, remember...) (btw, sorry for the white reflections; that was silly me holding my document while taking the photos...)

To clean or not to clean
Mood:  lazy
Topic: Home
Today I didn't go out at all. Guess I was too lazy. Slept and surfed the Net, and watched some TV.

I took this picture at the back of our house, outside the kitchen. It shows a rack with cleaning utensils and a slipper. They too aren't doing much. Probably sleeping and resting like me.

Sundays are good for lazing about...

Blooms
Mood:  chillin'
Topic: Home
Our garden is full of flowers, thanks to my mum. There are all sorts of flowers, from orchids to wild varieties. Once in a while, it's nice to just walk about the house and take note of the interesting plants and flowers available.

I did go out today to take my car for a spin. Went to my brother's house and he also test drove my car. He has not driven it for a long time, and was rewarded how thrilling an Italian car can be, and a lot faster than his modified Japanese model.

Power Lines
Mood:  energetic
Topic: Office
It was in the morning and I was standing in the meeting room looking outside, and the view caught my eye.

The sun although somewhat blocked by the electric tower, gave a shimmering outline to the railway tracks below and a dark outline to the cityscape in the horizon.

Everyone is probably busy getting to their office, either by train, as can be seen passing by, or by car, as seen parked below.

I like the curved lines of the tracks leading to the city. Kinda cool.
