There was a problem with the septic tanks at our house. It was flooding. When the contractors came, they found out the piping needed replacement. So, they dug out the old pipes and was working all day long on it. What a shit job...

Washtub

This is the scene at the back of our house, just outside the kitchen area. It's the washing area, where some of the clothes and towels get washed, if the washing machine is fully utilised.

I remembered being bathed myself, when i was very little. My mum would put me in the basin and wash me up. Needless to say, I loved to play with the water, and jumped about to cause splashes and waves.

Today I just lazed about at home. Everyone else had disappeared elsewhere. So, I trudged around the garden making an inspection of the grounds.

I spotted these bunch of spades and changkul and took a snap of them. They look like they were resting after soiling hard in our backyard.

Pin For Your Clothes

At the back of our house we have the clothes line. This is used to hang wet clothes and get them dried in the sun. To avoid the clothes being blown to the ground by wind, the clothes pin is handy to clip the clothes onto the line. I'm not sure what the function is for different coloured pins, maybe blue is for shirts, yellow for trousers, and red for underwear. I can only guess since no clothes are hung today.

Shoe Corner

When someone comes home, they'll chuck there shoes in the corner of the main room. This is where all the shoes reside after a day's outing with them. They transit here for a while until my mum clears them into the store room.

I have several pairs of shoes. For office wear, it's either the brown or black leathers. For general going out, I'd be using my jogging shoes.

Chilli or Tomato?

Two of the most important items during a meal: tomato and chilli ketchup. Your lunch or dinner would be bland without them.

They work well with almost any dishes. You can also mix the two to give a blended taste.

If you're not sure, don't leave home without it.

To clean or not to clean

Today I didn't go out at all. Guess I was too lazy. Slept and surfed the Net, and watched some TV.

I took this picture at the back of our house, outside the kitchen. It shows a rack with cleaning utensils and a slipper. They too aren't doing much. Probably sleeping and resting like me.

Blooms

Our garden is full of flowers, thanks to my mum. There are all sorts of flowers, from orchids to wild varieties. Once in a while, it's nice to just walk about the house and take note of the interesting plants and flowers available.

I did go out today to take my car for a spin. Went to my brother's house and he also test drove my car. He has not driven it for a long time, and was rewarded how thrilling an Italian car can be, and a lot faster than his modified Japanese model.

This is where I spend most of my time at home. I'd be surfing the Internet and mucking around with my 3D animation.

Thankfully, I have a reasonably fast PC, even though it is a couple years old, and since I'm on Streamyx, my link to the World Wide Web is also quick.

I have a 19" colour monitor that is sharp and also a 5 speaker system including subwoofer that produces awesome THX-like surround sound, just nice to watch my DVD movies.

Ahh, home sweet home...

Curious Cat

The neighbour's white cat roams to our house once in a while, and sometimes will jump onto the ledge outside my window. She is basically asking for some munchies, and if the kitchen has any leftovers, i definitely hand some to her.

I guess everyone want's a good bite now and again, and white cat knows our home has some of the best yummies in town :)
