Raining of the Federal Highway
Mood:  d'oh
Topic: General
It's been raining almost everyday for a few weeks. Not heavy rain, sometimes just a drizzle. I was driving back to PJ along the Federal Highway and here I am passing the famous RM1m Selangor archway that depicts the boundary between KL and PJ.

Underground Carpark
Mood:  down
Topic: Office
This is part of the carpark that is underneath my office in KL. It is a large area and occasionally I forget where I had left my car. It's also pretty hot and humid here, as there are vents spewing out hot air into the carpark. Not sure for what. Maybe to discourage people hanging out here.

Desk Toys
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: Office
You may not notice from my previous entry (window cleaning) that my office table has all sorts of souvenirs and gifts from friends. Here is a closer look of a subsection of those trinklets. Cat-like stuff feature quite commonly as my friends know that I love those feline creatures.

Window Cleaning
Mood:  bright
Topic: Office
I was sitting at my desk doing work and minding my own business, when suddenly these three workers appeared in front of my window. Please remember that i'm on the 36th floor, so it's not a common sight. Actually, they weren't cleaning windows. Most likely doing regular maintenance work.

Working Corner
Mood:  don't ask
Topic: Office
Today I was busy completing a report. I was working in one of our branch offices, and since the meeting room was occupied, they placed me in this small but crowded room, filled with stacks of files and manuals.

Luckily the room had a network connection, so I could check my emails and surf the WWW from my laptop. The aircon was working too, so I was quite comfortable.

Hamsters Hugging
Mood:  amorous
Topic: General
One of my favourite shops to visit at Midvalley Megamall is Pet's World. There are a variety of animals to see (and buy). There's cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, lizards and even snakes.

Hamsters are cute, furry creature that are showcased at the entrance. They can be seen either scurrying around or huddling together. My niece has hamsters as pets. I think they're too small and likely to be accidentally squashed.

Movie at GSC
Mood:  on fire
Topic: Family
Since today was a non-working day, I decided to go to Midvalley Megamall. I wanted to check out the latest Nikon digicams as there was a camera exhibition going on. One of my niece tagged along.

Soon after wandering about at MV, I spotted the cinemas at the top floor and wanted to watch a movie. So, we bought tickets and saw "The Bourne Supremacy." Full of action and spy-vs-spy type.

Eating Sahur for Fasting
Mood:  hungry
Topic: Family
The Muslim Fasting Month of Ramaddan has started, and to get us through the day, we are encouraged to wake up for Sahur to have our supper. This takes place early in the morning, normally around 4-5am.

For the first day, Laksa was prepared. (I think it was Laksa.) It was delicious.

Stuck
Mood:  irritated
Topic: Personal
On my last day at Sheraton Imperial attending a course, I took a different exit out from the hotel. Unfortunately, due to the angle of the incline of the road and buldging metal hump at the gateway of the exit, my car got stuck on the hump. This was because my car has lowered sports suspension, and the exhaust pipe is very close to the ground.

Thankfully, some of the hotel staff helped by putting flat pieces of rock underneath the rear tyres and i managed to lift the car out of the jam it was in.

Next time, I must remember to use the other exit...

A Visit to KLCC
Mood:  happy
Topic: General
I went to Suria KLCC to do a bit of window shopping and have dinner and ice-cream with some friends. It's always facinating to view the immense structure of the "world's tallest twin towers" and the interior design and decor is also unique.

This was taken at the Central Concourse. You can view the dome ceiling and the glass elevators. In the background is the Petrosains exhibition hall.

I had a nice time with my friends. We dined at Chillis at had delicious ice-cream at the New Zealand ice-cream stall.
