Asian Ornaments
Mood:  suave
Topic: General
I was attending a management course at the Sheraton Imperial, KL when I spotted this unique and colourful decoration. These are tapestries and jewelry boxes in the style of Indian and Middle-Eastern royalty. They had beautiful and intricate designs.

Noodles
Mood:  hungry
Topic: Office
I had lunch at the canteen today. There are several stalls to choose from, with all the typical local dishes. I wanted to have Fried Kway Teow, so I went to this Penang-style Penang Noodle House. They cooked the meal there-and-then, and it was hot and tasty. My meal cost me RM4.

Lego Toys
Mood:  mischievious
Topic: Family
Once in a while, my brother's kids would visit us. One of the first thing they'll do is to bring out the Lego toy set and play with it, building houses or vehicles.

You can see a spaceship parked by the mothership and docked near the petrol station for refuelling.

Washtub
Mood:  lazy
Topic: Home
This is the scene at the back of our house, just outside the kitchen area. It's the washing area, where some of the clothes and towels get washed, if the washing machine is fully utilised.

I remembered being bathed myself, when i was very little. My mum would put me in the basin and wash me up. Needless to say, I loved to play with the water, and jumped about to cause splashes and waves.

Back Up
Mood:  cool
Topic: Office
What you're looking at are stacks of backup tapes at our computer data centre. These are used to archive daily records and transactions from the main servers.

Backing up your data, whether office work or personal information, is an important activity. I perform backups of my laptop and home at least every month, on cd-r.

When you run out of cash, this is your friend. The ATM machine. Assuming you have money in your bank account, of course. You can do all sorts of transactions nowadays. They're pretty advanced and easy to use.

Giant Shopping Centre
Mood:  cool
Topic: General
Had nothing better to do, so I wandered to a nearby shopping centre and just walked about in and out of the buiding.

This is not a fancy place like One Utama or Midvalley Megamall, but it has most of the basic necessities, like supermarket, fast-food restaurants, bookshop, and boutiques.

Concorde Pool
Mood:  suave
Topic: Office
Was bored as usual at the management workshop, so I toured the hotel we were in. They have a nice swimming pool, as can be seen from the upper floors, and also a spacious lobby at the entrance.

I wished I brought my swimming trunks.

Chandelier Workshop
Mood:  caffeinated
Topic: Office
I was attending a workshop at a local hotel organised by our corporate department. We were in a large ballroom that had impressive looking chandeliers. When the lights were dimmed to show some video clips to the audience, I was more interested in the sparkling of these chandeliers.

Anyway, the speakers at this workshop were mostly boring, and I spent most of the afternoon doodling on my notepad.

Gardening Tools
Mood:  smelly
Topic: Home
Today I just lazed about at home. Everyone else had disappeared elsewhere. So, I trudged around the garden making an inspection of the grounds.

I spotted these bunch of spades and changkul and took a snap of them. They look like they were resting after soiling hard in our backyard.
