Incredibles Movie
Mood:  incredulous
Topic: Family
To watch this incredible movie, we had to endure an incredibly long queue, even though we arrived early.

It was the inaugural screening of the show, plus it was school holidays, so the cinema was jam packed with patrons.

This is the incredible Screen 12, the largest of the cinemas. Because it was fully booked, we took refuge in the 13th cinema; it had a spookier feeling. All in all, a most fun and enjoyable animated story.

Paper Tosei
Topic: Family

After having platefuls of rendang and ketupat, we wanted a change of flavour, so decided on Indian cuisine. We went to the nearby Lotus restaurant and i ordered tosei. Light yet tasty!

Raya Yummies
Topic: Family

It's the 1st day of Raya, and our house had prepared tons of food and kuih. There were lots of visitors and some of my friends came too. All of them liked the cooking and we spent chatting about old times.

A Visit to the Graveyard
Mood:  sad
Topic: Family
My brother and I visited my late Dad's grave early in the morning. The grave was unusually clean and even stranger, there was a small tree growing from the centre of the grave. It wasn't there the last time we visited it.

We also toured the graveyard a bit, and spotted an area where we suspect are for little children becos the grave is small in size. An excellent place for the next creepy zombie movie, don't you think?

Movie at GSC
Mood:  on fire
Topic: Family
Since today was a non-working day, I decided to go to Midvalley Megamall. I wanted to check out the latest Nikon digicams as there was a camera exhibition going on. One of my niece tagged along.

Soon after wandering about at MV, I spotted the cinemas at the top floor and wanted to watch a movie. So, we bought tickets and saw "The Bourne Supremacy." Full of action and spy-vs-spy type.

Eating Sahur for Fasting
Mood:  hungry
Topic: Family
The Muslim Fasting Month of Ramaddan has started, and to get us through the day, we are encouraged to wake up for Sahur to have our supper. This takes place early in the morning, normally around 4-5am.

For the first day, Laksa was prepared. (I think it was Laksa.) It was delicious.

Lego Toys
Mood:  mischievious
Topic: Family
Once in a while, my brother's kids would visit us. One of the first thing they'll do is to bring out the Lego toy set and play with it, building houses or vehicles.

You can see a spaceship parked by the mothership and docked near the petrol station for refuelling.

Alicia Keys in Concert
Mood:  party time!
Topic: Family
It was awesome! Alicia performance at Stadium Negara was so full of energy. Her voice was splendid and so was her piano play. The packed crowd screamed and danced all through the night.

I went with my nephew and niece and they enjoyed it very much too. I managed to squeeze my way to near the stage to her singing, but my XDAII has a wide-angle view so things look much smaller than it really is. Anyway, it was an excellent concert.

Tickets for Alicia Keys
Mood:  lyrical
Topic: Family
I am going to see Alicia Keys in concert!! I bought these tickets for my nephew and niece and the live event will be on 1st Oct 2004.

This should be a splendid entertainment event. The last concert I went to was Mariah Carey. That was spectacular.

For Alicia, her concert is in a smaller stadium, so we'd be much closer to her. Hopefully, we can stand near the stage or something. Maybe shake her hands. Ok, that would be wishful thinking...
