A large billboard card was put up at the lobby of my office building to declare the Chinese New Year. It even has steps that lead up to the card stage.
Another large gathering, this time for our own ICT Division to bid farewell to our CIO. There were rows and rows of chairs lined up, plus dining tables too. The food was average but the occasion was memorable.
Our head office had the annual gathering for CNY. This time there was some interesting stage shows, such as acrobats and traditional dances. Of course, the lion dance jumping on poles was shown too. I was more distracted by the good food.
My car drinks quite a bit, so i have to fill her often. She is most efficient when i travel longer distance. In town, she can finish a full tank in less thank one week.
One of the neighbour near my house does not keep their compound clean, and we can see tons of dead trees and rubbish lying around the house. It is even covering the roadside.
After a quick visit to my mum at hospital, my brother and I had some roticanai at the nearby mamak shop. This is the typical hangout of most Malaysians during mealtime.
This is the ceiling of the dome at our office mosque. It's a modern design. This was the Friday congretional prayers.
Although Petaling Jaya is a fairly modern town, it does have lots of trees and greenery planted all over the place. It gives it a nice village feel about it.
You normally will find petrol stations setup in pairs. Like here, we have Shell on one side of the road, while Esso is on the other.
All is not lost in the busy workload. Our officemates organised a gathering where we rejoiced our achievements and savoured some local delicacies.
